Guardians of Eden Bursary

Penrith Show Chairman, Richard Gardiner can be seen giving a bursary cheque to Mark Housby, farm manager at Dolphenby. Mark received a cheque for £250 from the Guardians of Eden Trust - Farming Initiatives Bursary.
Mark spent 4 weeks in New Zealand, visiting 35 dairy farming businesses which ranged from a 300 cow herd to 70,000 animals. He was researching new/different farming techniques, looking for ideas to bring back to Cumbria.
